Saturday Morning
This morning we met with our executive board in Bulgaria to discuss the growth and progress of RIN. We also planned training days for the forthcoming year including the leadership summit broadcast from Willow Creek. Pastor Dave shared a word of thanks and affirmed our commitment to RIN Bulgaria.
Sunday Morning
I’ve just arrived at a gypsy village and it looks like a tornado has hate this place, yet in the midst of this run down and poor community, there is the first gypsy church after the fall of communism. We pulled up and the pastor took us into a small office the worship was passionate and prayerful with the building packed out tears were flowing from there face as they sang of their love for God. I’m about to preach so we will post mote later.
Well I just finished preaching and what a time. I shared my testimony with my usual English humour which worked, only for a Welshman! After preaching we worshipped in the Spirit very powerfully before we prayed for those with sicknesses. It was a very moving service and another huge highlight in my ministry journey. The Pastor was very kind and honoured us with his words more than he needed to! We are servants I kept telling him! The church in Bulgaria is very much alive, especially amongst the gypsy people.
After the service I was taken to a man’s house to pray for him as he is dying with cancer, I walked from the church though the gypsy village and his whole family were there crying out to God, it was quite moving. I laid hands on him and prayed and read from Psalm 91, we will continue to pray for him this coming Tuesday we will put his picture on the screens for us as a church to pray for his healing.
Sunday Night
Hundreds of believers poured into our church in Samakov pastored by Nikolay. I greeted the people and shared a brief word with them before unleashing the ‘Jenkins’ who preached with passion which he can’t help! We made an altar call and prayed for lots of people. One young man in particular captured our hearts he had been in a wheel chair for over a year after a serious accident. He told us that when we did the big conference here at the cultural palace he was laying in hospital watching the DVD’s of the meetings!! And now he was excited about meeting us in person. Our time here has been so significant and we want to thank you all at Renewal for your prayers, support and generosity is trusting us and enabling us as your Pastor’s to play a part in such an historical time in the life of the Bulgarian Christians.
Bulgaria update
Im sitting in the lobby of our hotel after what can only be described as ‘INCREDIBLE’! Friday night we saw 93 Pastors join RIN Europe that made up over 40 churches with a total membership of 10,000 believers. The meeting began in typical fashion, great Bulgarian worship that even without understanding the words is simply awesome. To officiate such an historical event has to rank in my top ten of greatest experiences to date. Pastor Dave preached a powerful word with over a 1000 people packed into the building before praying for each of the pastors joining RIN. Im not sure which picture to post with this blog it will probably be later. On Saturday Pastor Dave Kicked off with the first session on leadership before he left to get back to base for the visit of David Ring from the US (Pastor Dave has done some serious mileage over the last few weeks pray for him). Peter Jenkins and myself took the last 2 sessions and spoke on the character of Christ being formed in us. Tomorrow we both will be preaching in different parts of the city of Sofia and back to our beloved Samakov at night for an old fashioned revival meeting!!
I will try and update you all after Sunday night wifi permitting!!

Thanks for your Prayers
