Geoff Greenaway

Geoff and Althea Greenaway Geoff Greenaway founder member and trustee of Renewal fell asleep at 3.20 this morning and woke immediately in the presence of his saviour the Lord Jesus Christ. Geoff and Althea started the church with Pastor David and Molly in 1972 and held many positions within the church over those years. His eye for detail and his insistence that things were done in a correct manner made him a reliable friend and colleague. Over the last few years he has encouraged our Alcester congregation by making the 60 mile round trip every week enjoying every moment of it. He will be sadly missed by elders, trustees; leaders and congregation but his reward will out weigh our sadness. Our love goes to Althea, his son and daughter, daughter and son in law and his three grand children.

A celebration of his life will be at Church after the funeral on Friday 9th November 12.00pm with refreshments afterwards.

Geoff, I didn’t have the chance to know you personally. I thank The Lord that there were People like you supporting Pastor David when he started the Church, all those years ago. Because of what you did over the years, Renewal can move forward to the next level where The Lord wants us to be, in a positive manner and serve God in all areas he wants us. My Prayers go out to Althea and the Family at this time. God Bless You All.
