	Child Dedication A Blessing for Babies and Young Children As Jesus was brought to the temple and dedicated to God, we prefer to practice this method of blessing upon children, in the prayer and belief that one day they will choose to follow Christ. The service takes place mainly in the Sunday Morning Service, relatives are invited to attend and God Parents can be appointed if desired. A beautiful handmade card is given to the family marking this significant day in the child’s life.
