Helping Hands is the Social Care Ministry of Renewal. Helping Hands as part of their community involvement, work in close relationship with the Probation and Social Services and other agencies.
It was started by Bob and June Carsley with the deep desire to alleviative poverty, pain and helplessness. Since then it has now grown to partner with much of our community including 20 schools within the Solihull and South Birmingham area, which now act as collecting stations.
As well as food, the church now has a warehouse where furniture can be redistributed to those in need. We are always looking for good quality furniture that we can bless people with. If you are part of Renewal Christian Centre provision is made for you to bring in food and other designated items that appear in the bulletin, each Sunday and Tuesday. Also, if you feel your place of work has the right environment to have a collection bin for your friends and colleagues to bring food in, then please contact Ashley Keymer.
