Current Projects

• We are supporting the work of Caminul Felix Romania (www.caminulfelix.org). Pastor Peter is a member of the international board and this is the largest Christian organisation in Romania. It is linked with a special needs school a prosthetic clinic.
• Renewal Christian centre handles the sponsorship programmes for Caminul Felix which takes care of over 200 orphaned and abandoned children. Are you interested in sponsoring a child on a monthly basis? Contact the Church office. Pastor Peter serves on the board of Compassion and Care International which works closely with RCC and Caminul Felix
• We regularly send goods to Caminul Felix by road working with Hope Carriers based in Hereford. We also have our own 7.5 tonne lorry which we use to take smaller loads.
• In the spring of 2008 we will be hosting an evening with John Willdrianne. He has worked in Romania for over 50 years and will bring an incredible overview of the changes that have taken place during that time. If you would like to attend the evening please contact the Church office for details.
• We have opened a preparatory school in India and have provided finance to build more toilets and a better kitchen.
• We will in 2008 open Renewal Computer Centre at the school during the evenings and finance raised will be used to feed the children every day. These children come from very poor families and we are giving them a hope for the future.
• Pastor Peter has oversight of the staff at CVC The Voice Asia broadcasting to India and Pakistan 7 days a week In 2008 there will be exciting opportunities to be part of team who will be trained to help us cope with the thousands of responses we receive every month. • Together with the West Midlands fire service we helped build a home for Oaza working for the development and protection of children in Romania. We have some exciting developments for 2008 with organizations based in the UK who want to work with us.
• We are working in Bulgaria in the village of Samakov. We have helped build and equip a feeding centre that now provides food for over 80 widows and orphans every day. Renewal is linking with 60 churches in Bulgaria and in 2008 we will be developing our links with these churches and communities.
