Ministry of Power

Every Tuesday at Renewal Christian Centre

Tuesday night has always been our prayer night. In many ways some weeks felt like quite a laborious task - praying round the world in a 'celestial geography lesson', binding the powers of darkness, releasing goodness - a mixture of modern charismatic prayer and traditional 'thee, thou and nanny nos!!' We all know real prayer bears no resemblance to that image, it's living in the presence of Almighty God - a two way transaction; speaking to and hearing from God.

When we were so desperate to hear from Him He spoke and only 3 years later His presence is awesome - lives are being changed and saved on a weekly basis and we are seeing many incredible healings. Many people have come with terminal illness such as cancer, skin disease, lung and heart problems, arthritis and other such illnesses and have testified to being totally transformed by the power of prayer and the heavy anointing of the Holy Spirit. Doctors have made such statements as: "I don't know what has happened but we didn't do it!" and "If you say it's prayer, that's fine, we don't know what has happened"

When people have been advised to call a Macmillan nurse for pain control and we then see these same people no longer needing the assistance of this fine nursing body, we stand in awe.

During Tuesday evenings the worship is inspiring and the Lord constantly brings challenge from His Word enabling us to live on a high level from that we are used to in our nation.

Without advertising people are finding their way to these meetings. We have deliberately not advertised as we do not believe we have been called to build our own ministry but to be obedient as a local church meeting the needs of local people by the anointing of Christ (Isaiah 61). May the Lord continue to reveal, release, revive and restore.

Where and when?

If you would like to attend one the Ministry of Power meetings they begin at 7.30pm at Renewal Christian Centre in Solihull. Please see our location page for maps and directions. All visitors are welcome but we encourage you to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start to ensure you get a seat!
