Why do we need feedback on your Connect group?
Connect is a ministry in its own right. Just because you run your groups yourselves, doesn't make them any less important to the Pastoral Leadership team. It's great when you tell us that you've met, give us an outline of what you chatted about - and also let us join with you in praying for any issues that you may have.
We respect confidentiality, so if you tell us not to, we won't put the prayers on the prayer list - but we have a large support team in place, so if you need some help, we can identify it and offer our support.
We LOVE to read about what God is doing in your life - the successes, the challenges, the answers to prayer. The Senior Pastors' office is always thrilled to celebrate with you and praise God for His grace in all our lives.
When you complete your feedback form, it tells us a few things. First, that you have met! That's an important one, as, that way, we can see how many people are actually being supported by regular fellowship. It's also your chance to give us important feedback on the Sunday teaching - have you got questions? Can you apply it to your own life?
We also gauge the need for resources - how well supported the sports and leisure activities are, whether you enjoy social events. Keep telling us what you do...and if the need is there, we'll keep supporting you by developing activities to match.
Each Connect group has a facilitator. Facilitators aren't the leader of the group - there is no leader. But, they are responsible for co-ordinating meeting times/places - and also for completing the Connect Feedback form. In this respect, we're asking you to act on our behalf...by working with your group to compile the information we need, to enable us to support you in everything you do. Thanks for your support!
