Every Tuesday evening at 6.00pm, people with drug and alcohol misuse problems and ex-offenders gather at Renewal to receive mentorship and guidance.
Renewal’s Open Gate ministry works with other charities that specifically support these groups of people, with rehabilitation and support for training and education.
Pastor David believes this ministry is vital to all of us.
He says, ‘It is for our own future, our own communities, that we must help these people. By reducing the rate of re-offending, and breaking the cycle of crime and addiction, we are creating a better future for us all.’
