Pastoral Care and Community Support are intrinsic to our service as a Church. We believe that we need to go 'beyond the basics' and so we utilise the skills and professional experience of members of our congregation to provide exeptional levels of specialist support. To this end our volunteer support team includes Parish Nurses, Counsellors, Mental Health Professionals, Probation Officers and those experienced in the support of children with additional needs and their families.
Because all of these professionals work within the public sectors of heath, welfare and education, they are best placed to offer advice, support and assistance to people within our Church or local community. Sometimes, it may just be advice as to the best place to seek help - other times it may be support that we can provide right here at Renewal.
