The RBTC provides a variety of courses which are designed to help EVERY Christian to become more like the Lord Jesus Christ.
Why have Renewal Bible Training Centre?
One of the last instructions given by the Lord Jesus to His disciples before He returned to heaven to be with His Father was:
Matthew 28:19+20 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you ..
This means that His Church has 2 main tasks:
1.Go into the world and witness so that people are born again according to the Scriptures this is the responsibility of ALL Christians.
2.Teach ALL Christians so that they become disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ this is primarily the responsibility of Church Bible Schools.
About RBTC
At Renewal the Bible School is known as the Renewal Bible Training Centre (RBTC). The RBTC is a department of the Renewal Christian Centre, which is itself a Free Methodist Church and a registered charity.
The RBTC is headed by its Principal, Reverend Dr. Niall Cluley, who is also an Elder and Trustee of Renewal Christian Centre: he reports directly to the Senior Pastor, Reverend Dr. David Carr. He is assisted by 5 Directors, one of whom is also the General Manager of the RBTC, and a team of other helpers. All of the RBTC are unpaid, part-time volunteers.
