Diploma in Christian Life & Service

Christian Ministry & Evangelism

Introduction

  • For those studying by attendance: this will take place on Thursdays and, on occasion, also on Saturdays or Sundays, as advertised. All students MUST take the Modules on: (i) Evangelism; (ii) Stewarding; (iii) Teaching A Class In Junior Church; & (iv) Working With Young People. All other Modules are optional and will carry credits towards the Diploma or Advanced Diploma.
  • A variety of training methods will be used, but the emphasis will be on showing Christians what to do and then giving them the opportunity to go away and practise.
  • Notes will not normally be issued.

Objectives

  • To release the potential within Christians by giving them the insight and encouragement they need to be more effective in the Kingdom of God.
  • To equip Christians to be prophetic and live in the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • To develop Christians for all levels of ministry in a local church.
  • To develop leaders in the fivefold ministry gifts.
  • To encourage Christians to fulfil the purpose for which God has called them by coaching them in their area of gifting.
  • To provide on-going Biblically based practical training, where the emphasis is on “learning by doing”, by helping Christians do better any job, task or ministry in which they are involved.
