Partnership Foundations

This 3 week introductory course is designed particularly for:

• Those who are interested in becoming partners at Renewal 
(N.B. Course attendance does not guarantee partnership, which is confirmed by interview with the Community Pastor).
• Anyone who wants to find out more about Renewal.

The course takes place on Thursday evenings and commences with a FREE meal at 7.00 p.m. and will cover the following topics:

Week 1 Where We Are From

The history and background of Renewal Christian Centre; testimonies of the course leaders; and learning about each other’s journey to Renewal. All attendees will receive a Free Methodist Handbook and a Partnership Foundations book and DVD, which covers our basic doctrines on subjects such as Water Baptism and Communion.

Week 2 Where We Are Now

The structure of Renewal, its leadership team and the pastoral care framework, including cell groups; also, an opportunity to meet some of the leaders and ask questions regarding the doctrines you will have studied on DVD. A brief video on the Free Methodist movement will be shown.

Week 3 Where We Are Going

Renewal’s vision is shared, including short presentations on some of our ministry opportunities to enable you to identify the part you can play in advancing the Kingdom in partnership with us.

The course takes place on alternate Thursday evenings (7.00 – c9.30 p.m.) in the Alpha room @ Renewal. Dates for the next course are included elsewhere in the RBTC brochure and will also be published on the web site and in the Church Bulletin.
