Announcement

It is with sadness that we announce the home call of the Revd Canon John Watkinson (Pastor John).

He served the Lord and the vision of Renewal for almost 30 years and was truly one of the finest pastors ever known. Our love goes to Vi, his life time partner in life and ministry, and his son David. He is now united with his daughter Anne, who was an integral part in John finding faith in Christ.

We welcome all to the Memorial Service at 11.30am here at the Renewal Christian Centre. He will be laid to rest at 10.30am at Robin Hood Crematorium on the 15th February.

No flowers by request please and donations will be received on the day to named charities. Refreshments will be served after the service here at Renewal.

Golden Partners
Never too old to serve!
All partners sixty years old and older form an integral part of the church and are represented in all ministries

Services and functions include:

Mid-week communion service every Wednesday morning 11am to 12 noon. The service is held in the Wesley Chapel and is followed by refreshments and fellowship. All ages are welcome. We also celebrate many special occasions after the service with a buffet lunch served.

Art Class
An art class (Painting, Drawing, Calligraphy and so on) for the experienced artist and also for the complete beginner. This takes place every Wednesday in the Family Centre here at Renewal Christian Centre between 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Again all ages are welcome.

Faithbuilders
Golden Partners also support many activities of Faithbuilders through prayer support, spiritual grandparenting and giving financially to the children’s ministry.

Events
We also get together for other events - such as a Harvest Meal or Christmas Lunch. Check the Renewal Connect magazine for dates, or the home page of this site, where any upcoming events will be announced.
