Senior Pastor's Team

The church is firstly accountable to the Lord. In practical terms the leadership receives positive support from the National Superintendent and Conference Bishop of the Free Methodist Church. At a local level, the Senior Pastor, Dr. David Carr leads the vision with the security of the board of elders who seek the Lord Jesus for direction and confirmation.

Dr. David Carr - Senior Pastor

David is the Senior Minister of the Renewal Christian Centre, Solihull, which is seven miles away from Birmingham - the second largest city in the UK. David pioneered the church in 1972 and now it is one of the largest charismatic, Spirit filled churches within a fifty mile radius.

Richard Taylor - Associate Pastor

He is a passionate communicator and skilled in communicating with his audiences. Described by evangelist Reinhard Bonnke as ‘a young man alight with the fire of the Holy Spirit.’ Richard has dedicated his live to proclaiming Christ by making the message of the Gospel accessible to all generations.

Jim Wilkinson - Pastor of Youth

Jim is part of a dynamic new breed of Youth Pastor who believes that young people should reach their potential in all they do because this potential is God given. He believes that God wants young people across the world to make the right decisions in turn living in the destiny God purposed.

Justin Marsh - Pastor for Pastoral Care

Justin's role in the church is primarily providing Pastoral oversight to the central church. The integration of cells to the body being a priority, enabling the believers to have fellowship, accountability, support and encouragement. He will co-ordinate all central Pastoral functions and be responsible under the senior minister for the team of people who have been called to assist in this work.

Peter Jenkins - Missions Director

He served on the executive board of Assemblies of God and is a member of the board of Caminul Felix Romania, Compassion and Care International, Eastern European Bible College, World Compassion and CIRM. He pioneered Amblecote Christian Centre and served on the leadership team there for 35 years.
